We started this blog last year in November.
Since then, this is the first month that we have surpassed the 1000 view mark. We just wanted to write a short blog post to you all to say, ‘Thank you!’
Below are some interesting statistics about our blog’s journey so far:

We have had visitors from 45 countries, from the USA all the way to Ukraine.
We spend the southern hemisphere’s summer in New Zealand, my home country, and the northern hemisphere’s summer in England, Tom’s home country. You can see this reflected in the country statistics above.
We started this blog in New Zealand, so many of you lovely folks are Kiwi. We then travelled to the UK via Malaysia and blogged about the Malaysian species we encountered on our journey (Thank you to our Malaysian supporters who joined the ride!). Now, we are in the UK, and many of you Brits are joining us for the first time as we are meet our British species.

As to the blog posts that you enjoyed, here are the links for our most popular ones:
First
Second
New Zealand’s smallest endemic bird, the Rifleman!
Third
A rare and elusive species: The Coromadel striped gecko.
Fourth
Getting to know UK wildlife: The great crested newt.
We’re so glad we get share our love for nature with other like-minded people like YOU. Thank you all for your support!

Thank you very much, Pete!
We love photographing the inhabitants of our amazing natural world. We learn so much from the process of writing the blog, and it’s fun to then get to share it with others :). It’s a win/win!
